二 | 而此前，在世界范围内对凝灰岩类石质文物的保护，都鲜有成功先例。面对这道世界级文物修复难题，中国文化遗产研究院自2011年起持续攻坚，在对上万块凝灰岩试样的上千次冻融循环试验的同时，也找到了修复材料的新发现。在仰韶文化时期，秦安大地湾先民曾用来盖房的古建材料“料礓石”，其中的碳酸钙在改变材料物理性能后，既能保证石头自由“呼吸”，又能有较好的修复效果。

三 | 科研团队备受启发，将材料范围进一步拓展到螺、蚝、贝等，通过研究碳酸钙与其他成分的配比，进而得到比水泥、混凝土更牢固、更透气的天然修复材料。补石头缝隙，可谓沟壑千万，最难的是那些毫米级甚至更小的裂缝。石质文物精细化修复的众多过程中，颜色也是一大挑战。

四 | 目前，科研团队建立的上万组色度数据库，从3000多种颜色中挑出承德石质文物最常见的120种灰色，供修复师现场比对精细化修复。

五 | 在过去十五年的时间里，科研团队完成数百件珍贵凝灰岩石刻抢救性保护，同时探索出科研人员深入一线，科研结果指导修复，形成“研究-设计-施工-监测-人才培养”全链条一体化的石质文物保护“中国经验”。
